Conference Themes
The conference focused on presentations of coastal community best practices and lessons learned, and explored cooperative strategies. With recognition of the need to build cooperative strategies and solutions for small coastal communities, this conference is timely and critical to not only the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador but also to all participating regions.
The conference sessions explored the following themes:
The conference format included group and plenary sessions, with community and regional presentations. Workshop sessions featured keynote speakers, panel presentations and facilitated discussions. The conference also provided networking opportunities, including a meet and greet, luncheons, and an evening supper and entertainment aboard the MV Apollo.
