Steering Committee Meetings Leading to Actions for North Atlantic Collaboration

Following the November CSCC Conference a Steering Committee was established to discuss plans for increased North Atlantic communication and collaboration. The Steering Committee has held a number of meetings over the past four months with a focus on the following:
1.) New North Atlantic collaboration between NORA, North Atlantic Forum and the International Society for the Study of Marginal Regions. As a follow-up opportunity from the November conference, these groups will meet in the Shetlands, September 10-14, 2007 as part of the Energy From the Edge Conference.
2.) Northern Knowledge Network is being developed in conjunction with NORA to facilitate ongoing dialogue and sharing of information across the North Atlantic region. This Network will provide online communication and information tools to link groups, organizations, communities, entrepreneurs and researchers throughout the North Atlantic region.
